TATTOO AND PIERCING FAQ
Here you will find clear answers to common questions about tattooing and piercing, including safety, licensing, aftercare, and what to expect before and after your appointment.
Tattoo Enquiries
Do tattoos hurt?
Yes, but it is often less painful than people expect. Pain levels vary depending on the person, placement, and size of the tattoo. If you are worried, we recommend starting with a small tattoo to understand how it feels.
Is it safe to get a tattoo?
Yes. We use pre sterile, single use, individually packaged needles and supplies. All disinfectants and cleaning products are medical grade, and our procedures follow strict hygiene and sterilisation standards.
What aftercare cream should I use for my tattoo?
Your artist will recommend the most suitable aftercare product based on your skin type and the tattoo itself. We also provide detailed tattoo aftercare guidance after every session.
When can I go to the gym after getting a tattoo?
This depends on the size and placement of the tattoo. For larger tattoos, heavy exercise should be avoided for around 10–14 days to allow proper healing.
Can I contact you if I have questions about tattoo aftercare?
Yes. You can contact us at any stage if you have concerns during healing.
Are tattoo touch ups free?
Yes. Tattoo touch ups are free up to 12 months after your appointment, provided the aftercare instructions were followed.
Can I get a tattoo if I have allergies?
If you have known allergies or skin conditions, you should discuss them with your doctor or dermatologist before booking your appointment.
Can I drink alcohol after getting a tattoo?
We advise avoiding alcohol for the first 24 hours after your tattoo. Staying hydrated is important.
How old do I have to be to get a tattoo?
In Cyprus, the legal age is 18. With parental consent, tattoos are permitted from the age of 16.
Piercing Enquiries
Do you use piercing guns or needles?
We only use single use cannula piercing needles. Piercing guns are unsafe and are not used in our studio.
Is tongue piercing safe?
Tongue piercings depend on individual anatomy. We assess this in person before proceeding. Not everyone is suitable for a tongue piercing.
Do you do eyeball tattoos?
No. Scleral tattooing is extremely dangerous and has nothing to do with professional skin tattooing. We do not offer or recommend this procedure under any circumstances.
Booking and Appointments
Do I need to book an appointment to discuss my tattoo idea?
Yes. Booking a consultation ensures we have enough time to properly discuss your design. Consultations are always free.
Do you accept walk ins?
If there are gaps in our schedule, we may accept walk ins. We recommend contacting us before visiting to confirm availability.
Are you open on Sundays?
No. Sunday is the only day of the week that we are closed.
What is the best way to contact you?
The fastest way is through Instagram messages. Other contact options are available on our contact page.
Can I buy a tattoo or piercing voucher?
Yes. Vouchers can be customised with a value amount, tattoo hours, or a specific piercing. They also make a great gift.
